This is a work in progress implementation of Iress' SDO protocol which is used by Viewpoint and some of their other trading software. It has been reverse engineered from the Viewpoint web client. It's far from complete and still in early stages, but it is a functional encoder/decoder and has been tested on the Viewpoint websocket API. The end goal is to allow trading via automated code, and alternative UI clients for retail Viewpoint users - with no extra work needed on the broker's side.
This is an unofficial project and is not supported by Iress. Any use of this project is subject to your own risk.
I've put many hours into this work and my own alternative Viewpoint client, which will be released for free when complete and probably open-sourced with this library (assuming all goes to plan). Any support is greatly appreciated and will allow me to dedicate more time to my development work.
