What is Filers?

Filers is a collection of file tools written in Rust.

It consists of many different commands.

Building from source

Requirements: - Git >= 2.11 - Rust >= 1.34 - Cargo >= 1.34

Clone from Git

git clone https://github.com/ltheinrich/filers && cd filers

Build using Cargo

cargo build --release

The binaries are placed in ./target/release/

Building new releases

Additional requirements: - Rustup >= 1.18 - aarch64-linux-gnu-gcc >= 6.3

Clone from Git

git clone https://github.com/ltheinrich/filers && cd filers

Add musl targets

rustup target add x86_64-unknown-linux-musl aarch64-unknown-linux-gnu

Install cargo-deb

cargo install cargo-deb

Build using build.sh

./build.sh

The binaries and packages are placed in ./target/bin/
